Examples and Tools for Mity SoC

Mity Soc is like Mity-Mite Module without LAN. We provide some examples for programmer to quickly start their development.

• 80H Port Example
This example will show you how to dump data to port 80H that programmer can read value from development board. It is helpful for debug, just like POST code of BIOS. Download source code 80h_port.c and 80h_port.exe.
• GPIO & Watchdog Timer Example
There are 16-bit GPIO on M6117D that can be programmed as input/output. This example show programmer how to drive GPIO. Programmer can read green LEDs on development board to get status of GPIO and press S1-S4 to send key message. We also use watchdog timer to keep their program running. Download source code gpio.c and gpio.exe.

• Graphic LCM Example
There are printer port and GPIO on Mity SoC. Programmer can use them to connect to LCM. We provide DOS text/graphic LCM for programmer to easily develop. This example is from GrLCM library and we add GPIO function to read S1-S4 key message. Download the project: lcm.zip (85 KB).
• Serial Port File Transfer Example
This example is use our SerPort library to send/receive file to/from serial port. Programmer can use it to upload their program to Mity SoC, too. Download the source code sender.c and sender.exe.
• ComCtrl Utility
We provide a TSR program for Mity SoC to be controlled by remote host. Run TSR.EXE which will hook INT 10H to dump video data to COM port and read remote key message from COM port. It only works with COM1 and will affect your program if programmer use COM1.

ComCtrl.EXE will send key press via com port to remote device and receive remote video message from com port. It's serial format: 115200bps, no parity, 8 data bits, 1 stop bits. You can use COM1 and COM2 when ComCtrl.exe is ran. Download: ConCtrl.EXE and TSR.EXE.
